How To Earn Money With Online Survey Sites in 2019
When you just start searching for ways to make extra income online, the option of taking surveys for money probably is the first to come up. As surveys are so popular for many years, is it too late for you to start?
In this post, I’ll show you how to earn money with online survey sites. Actually, taking surveys is the easiest way to earn money online, as you don’t need any specific skills to do it and the time is completely flexible. You always can find legitimate free paid surveys online to fill any free time slot from 1 min to an hour.
However, and it’s not surprising in any means, if something is too easy, it won’t bring you a high compensation. Let’s put it clearly – you are not going to be rich from surveys, nor be able to replace your day job with it.
Having too high expectations easily leads to bitter disappointment and you may even think you’ve been scammed.
Surveys are not a scam if you use one of the reliable websites from the list I have compiled for you.
Treat it as a nice side hustle or an income supplement that can sum up anywhere up to several hundred bucks a month.

How Much Can You Earn With Surveys?
Well, as with any other side job, the more time and consistency you put into it, the more rewards you will get. As everyone’s effort is different, let’s just try to estimate the potential hourly rate for this type of activity.
With most surveys you can get about $3-$6 per hour, however, it’s possible to score better opportunities from time to time.
You’ll have to gain some experience in order to be able to pick the best paying surveys while monitoring several panel websites.
How To Find Time For Surveys
Julius Caesar (yes, the one from the lettuce salad) was famous for his ability to multi-task. You don’t have to be a Roman king to do it as well. No need to schedule a time for surveys. There are plenty of opportunities to integrate them in many everyday situations without any effort, especially as many websites offer mobile options as well. Here are just some examples:
Public transportation commute – if you have a WiFi or good service, you can take surveys during the daily rides to and from work. Is not it a better way to pass your time when everyone around plays Candy Crush?
Watching TV shows at home – if you spend hours relaxing on your couch and staring at the screen, why not to answer some questions at the same time?
Waiting in a line – we all hate to be stuck waiting – at the doctor’s office, at the post office, in the supermarket. Why not make some money with surveys and the time will pass faster?
“Dead time” at work – some jobs might have time intervals when you actually don’t have any task at hand. For example, if you work as a customer service representative and there are no calls to reply. Or parking attendant, night guard, receptionist. Sometimes you might be stuck in the call conference where you only need to listen or wait for an hour for your turn to contribute. I know, it’s not an option for everyone.

How To Get Qualified For High Paying Surveys
Every survey targets a different audience. You can’t expect to qualify for a survey about new diapers if your youngest child is in college or you don’t have kids at all. If you have already provided this information as part of the general profile, you shouldn’t be getting irrelevant surveys. Unfortunately, sometimes the process doesn’t work perfectly and you might start a survey and answer several questions before getting to this critical one, like “do you have kids under the age of 3?”, and being disqualified.
In many cases, the company wants to collect opinions from the well-diversified audience. It can be hard to find people with specific required demographic parameters. The quote for common types fills quickly, and other people from the same group will be disqualified.
The rarer demographic characteristics you have, the better your chances are.
The list of the most desirable profiles can include the following:
1. General demographics – males, Hispanic, low income, geographic region
2. Medical conditions – people with health issues like asthma, obesity, cancer, migraine, back pain, diabetes, eczema, heart conditions, depression, hypertension, etc.
3. TV shows, magazines, and movies fans
4. Car owners and potential buyers
5. Main grocery shoppers of the household
6. Parents to kids of all ages
7. Technology lovers who possess various gadgets – Amazon Echo, Google Home, etc.
8. Video games players, owners of play consoles
9. Alcohol beverages consumers
10. Pets owners
11. Fast food consumers
12. Travelers who take flights and book hotels for business or leisure purposes
Please take some time to answer the qualification questions offered by every platform. Even if you don’t get paid for it, passing this information will help you to get more relevant surveys in the future and avoid disqualifications and time waste.
11 Top Online Survey Sites For 2019
There are dozens of survey websites out there. How are you supposed to know which ones are legitimate and which ones are scams? I know that you don’t have time to research, so I did it for you.
I’ve visited and compared about 40! websites (give me some applause, please!), read hundreds of reviews and checked the ratings and scores on TrustPilot and SurveyPolice. More than that, I’ve signed up and did surveys myself.
You can rest assured that every website on this list is legit. Sign up for some of them or all of them and find out what works best for YOU and your demographic profile.
Scroll down the list to find my best tips that will help to maximize your rewards in the long run.
OK, ready?
Drum rolls…..
And let’s start with our list of the best survey sites to earn money online in 2019.
PaidViewpoint (♥♥♥♥♥ from MoCashForYou personal experience)
Recently, PaidVewpoint became my favorite surveys site and for a reason.
This platform has one MAJOR advantage: you are not going to be disqualified by any survey, as you’ll be invited only to the studies that meet your profile. No wasting time on wrong surveys!
I also like that all the surveys are absolutely mobile friendly.
Each member should make an effort to grow their “TraitScore” – the measure of your reliability maintained by the platform. You do it by answering all the surveys with attention and consistency.
You will receive email invitations once regular or trait surveys become available for you. The disadvantage is that you have no control over how many surveys you can take. The philosophy of this platform is that “professional” survey takers can cause the results to be biased, so they limit the invitations. Sometimes I’ve got several surveys in one day, sometimes only a few per week.
PaidViewpoint accepts members from any country, however, the number of surveys you will get varies from country to country. In some locations, it may take over a year to reach the minimum payment threshold of $15. In the US I was able to cash out after several weeks.
In addition, PaidViewpoints has a wonderful referral program where you can earn up to $25 per each referral. Read more about it once you join.

Perksy – No Disqualifications Plus Cool Design ( ♥♥♥♥ rating from experience)
My second favorite surveys source is Perksy App that you’ll have to download to your smartphone.
You’ll get $1 just for completion of initial profile survey. While doing this, you’ll immediately see the difference between Perksy and all other survey sites. Perksy is not boring! It’s designed like a video game, with cool images, GIFs and graphics.
You’ll get notifications once relevant survey (they call it “stack”) is available and you’ll have to reply during the allotted time period of several hours. The surveys are very short and simple, no time to get bored with endless tables with multiple choices, like with many other panels. The payment is not bad, normally somewhere from 20 to 80 cents for a few questions.
Minimum cashout is $25 with gift cards. It may take you several months to get there, as the app will only offer you several stacks per week and you might miss the deadline on some of them.
I like Perksy as their surveys are like a small game break during my too busy days. Just a few minutes to relax and smile. And nothing to lose, as you are never disqualified and always paid for your time.
Just to mention that some users complained that they stop getting stacks when the balance gets closer to the 2500 threshold.
Download Perksy app here and get your sign up bonus
Swagbucks ( ♥♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 12,180 reviews)
Swagbucks has the highest number of positive reviews on TrustPilot by far.
This is the most popular site and for many reasons. Swagbucks offers a bunch of different ways to make money, from surveys to cash back mall, watching videos, completing offers, searching the web and much more. cash back members have earned more than $320 million dollars in total.
My favorite way, besides the surveys, is letting my phone run videos, when I’m in the WiFi zone. This way I’m blocked from scrolling my Facebook feed for hours and must find something more productive to do, while my phone makes money for me.
Swagbucks uses a points system where 1$ = 100SB (SB means Swag Bucks, as you could guess). You can use your desktop or download the Swagbucks app for Apple or Android.
The best part with Swagbucks is the signup bonuses: you’ll get $5 just for signing up (you’ll have to earn 2,500 SB in 60 days to qualify) and you can easily get another $10 if you make any $20 or more purchase via their cash back shopping mall.
The minimum cash out is as low as $3, so it wouldn’t take you long to get your first Visa Reward card or Amazon gift card.
If you don’t have an account yet, sign up now and grab your bonuses right away.

Survey Junkie ( ♥♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 8,630 reviews)
Survey Junkie has the second highest number of positive reviews on this list. It’s an online community with more than 10 million members from the US, Canada, and Australia.
The site uses a point system where $1 = 100 points.
An average survey will take about 15 min to complete and the rewards can be $1-2$. You will receive some points even if you don’t qualify.
The minimum payout threshold is set relatively low at $10 via PayPal or gift cards.

Inbox Dollars ( ♥♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 6,400 reviews)
I have sentiments towards Inbox Dollars, as it was the first site I’ve signed up for back in 2013. Since then, I have cashed out several times.
You will get $5 just for signing up and even more when you complete the initial set of tasks for new joiners.
In addition to surveys, Inbox dollars offers many ways to make money, like completing offers, reading emails, printing coupons, searching on web and more.
As the name suggests, the rewards you get are in good old dollars and cents. No points to translate. It’s the easiest system out there.
Read my full Inbox Dollars review for more details.
Minimum cash out is $30 and it’s quite fast to get there with a jump start of $5 sign up bonus and several high paying offers you can complete.

MyPoints ( ♥♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 3,200 reviews)
MyPoints is very similar to Swagbucks (it has the same owner – Prodege LLC). Since its foundation, MyPoints paid out more than $236 million dollars to its members.
The portal offers various ways to earn points, with a focus on online shopping. The other options include reading emails, watching video, playing games and, of course, paid surveys.
As suggested by the website name, there is a points system to record the members’ earnings. The value of $1 can be about 150-180 points, depending on the gift card you’d like to receive at the redemption. This system makes it difficult to compare the rewards per survey with other sites.
As a new member, you can get $10 bonus for completing eligible purchases with minimum $20 total via MyPoints portal within 30 days from signing up (you will also earn cash back for them).
Minimum cash out is with $3 Amazon card, which is very low and easy to reach.

Vindale Research ( ♥♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 2,800 reviews)
Vindale Research is considered one of the best survey companies in the industry. It has already paid to its members almost $7 million dollars.
Vindale doesn’t use any points systems, but just simple dollar values for each survey. I’d like to note their website design that looks much better than some old style competitors.
You will receive a $1 bonus for signing up and will get access to high paying surveys (up to $50 per survey).
One of the fallbacks of this company is a high minimum of $50 payout. However, it’s possible to reach as can be seen from numerous Vindale testimonials on the web.

Fusion Cash (A+ rating accredited with Better Business Bureau)
The first great thing to note about Fusion Cash is the sign-up bonus of $5.
With “No Catch – Just Cash” motto, this is a well-known platform for extra earnings from paid surveys, paid radio and video, cashback shopping, paid search and other tasks.
There is a great referral program as well, where you will get $1 for each sign-up, 2$ for the first offer completed by your referral and $5 each time your referral cashes out. You can actually build a nice passive income with this program!
Minimum Cash out is $25 with payment by PayPal, direct deposit or check. No charges for any payment method, but you can only cash out once a month.

Harris Poll Online (♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 2 reviews)
Harris Poll is one of the oldest survey companies operating for more than 45 years. It does polling on a variety of topics, including political polls.
You can expect to get about 3 to 5 surveys per month when each one will take between 5 to 25 minutes to complete. In case of disqualification, you might still get some points just for trying.
Normally, you’ll be able to get paid after you have finished about 10 surveys and accumulated 1,250 points (worth $10).
I like that Harris Poll takes your security seriously and require the 2-factor authentication that includes verification with a code sent to your phone. You also must create a unique user ID instead of simply using your email address. These measures help to protect you from cyber criminals.

Pinecone research (♥♥♥♥ rating on GetPaidSurvey based on 24 reviews)
Pinecone Research is one of the oldest and well-known survey companies whose members keep earning money for many years.
You have the best chances to get accepted to Pinecone research and get enough surveys if you are at least in one of the following categories:
– Age 18-24
– Male
– Hispanic or Asian
– High school or less education level
The payment is flat – $3 per completed survey. The system will send you invitations to the relevant surveys.
From the reviews I read, I see that the reviews are polarized between 1 and 5. Most common complaints are about not getting survey invites. Even if there is a truth in this, there is nothing to lose by trying to sign up.

One Opinion (♥♥♥ rating on TrustPilot based on 32 reviews)
The company was founded in 2011 and continues to grow. In addition to traditional surveys, you might qualify for some product testing at home and might be allowed to keep the product.
The sign-up process is easy through a chat with a virtual assistant. Be prepared to provide your name and agree to several parts of the term and conditions policies. After filling all this you’ll need to wait for a confirmation email in 3-5 business days. I’ve got it the same day.
Once you log in, you’ll need to answer a series of qualification questions that will help the platform to find a relevant survey for you.
In One Opinion’s points system 1000 points = $1. Minimum cash out is $25 with a gift card or PayPal.
The site is good both for desktops and mobile devices.
What I like less is that you will receive one specific survey to do once you log in, compared to other sites that display a list of available surveys so you can choose what to do next.

Global Test Market (♥♥♥♥ rating on GetPaidSurvey based on 136 reviews)
This site gets tons of traffic, meaning they do something right. GTM offers numerous surveys and sends frequent email updates about new available options.
It is one of the few sites that accept members from many countries around the world.
As disqualifications is a major pain point with all survey panels, it’s refreshingly nice that Global Test Market rewards you 5 points just for the effort of trying.
The less convenient conditions are the high minimum payment of $50 and a long processing time of 4-6 weeks.
Honestly, I saw many complaints about GTM’s customer support and account suspension issues. I still think they are worth a shot.

How To Get The Most From The Survey Websites
Separate email address
Consider opening a separate email account or use one that you may already have for the websites that might flood you with promotional emails. You don’t want this in your regular mailbox.
Use multiple sites
Try many websites to see which ones work best for your demographic profile and offer you the best paying surveys. It’s impossible to recommend one “best surveys website” that fits everyone. You must try by yourself based on the information I collected for you in this post.
Be honest, but careful
Answer with honest information, update your profile but don’t let all the secrets out. Personally, I don’t provide my real date of birth or full address. I change the date by 1-2 days and the street number by 1-2 houses. It keeps my demographic profile correct but protects me from identity fraud.
Be aware that inconsistent answers are the main reason to account suspensions. You shouldn’t say that you are 24y old female with diabetes in one survey and then turn into a 50y old healthy male in another. The system will tag you as unreliable and ban from participation.
Don’t disclose sensitive information
Keep sensitive information to yourself. If any survey asks for too much data (bank information, social security or anything else you are not willing to share), just drop it. The payment of 50 cents doesn’t worth exposing your data to strangers.
Work on weekdays
Login on weekdays for more available surveys, as more people do it on weekends and the quotes fill up quickly.
Take your money ASAP
Cash out once you get to the minimum payment. Many complaints on various websites are the cases when an account with a large sum of accumulated rewards was deactivated or not accessible. The reasons might be different, justified or not. My advice is to pull out the money as soon as you can. Probably you’d like to save it for a purpose like holiday gifts or vacation rather than just spend immediately. If the option of direct deposit is available, I recommend you to use it, get the money into your account and then transfer to one of the saving apps like Acorns.
Be aware of the scams.
All the websites in this post are safe to use. If you want to join another site, do your own research and check for reviews in order to avoid being scammed off your time and personal information.
Find your routine.
The key to making money with surveys is consistency. Decide what time slot you devote to it every day – is it the commute time, lunchtime or before bed relaxation. Whatever your decision is – just stick to it every day. The results will add up.
Compare the rewards to choose the best survey
Most of the websites provide you with the expected reward and the completion time before you start any survey. As the time may vary from 1 min to an hour, it’s not straightforward how to pick the best paying survey from the list.
To make the comparison easier, calculate the hourly rate using the table below and pick the best one that you can complete in the time slot available:
1 min – multiply by 60
5 min – multiply by 12
10 min – multiply by 6
15 min – multiply by 4
20 min – multiply by 3
30 min – multiply by 2
To make things more complicated, many of the survey panels use various point systems instead of simple dollars and cents. First of all, you’ll have to figure out how to translate these points to money, making a comparison between the sites right, like apples to apples.
Once you have more experience, you’ll be able to decide on the best survey in a second. My preference is short surveys, up to 15 min. This way you can be sure you have enough time to complete it.

Hi Mary,
Great article directing people on how to earn by completing online surveys. I’m glad that you’ve highlighted it isn’t a possibility as a replacement for full time work but more of a way to supplement an existing income. There are a couple of sites you recommend that I’m not familiar with, in your experience is there any one particular site that has the highest earning potential?
Hi Nate!
I’m judging websites not by their earning potential but rather by value per hour spent on them. I want to make sure I’m always paid for my time. This is the reason I choose PaidViewpoint as #1 and Perksy as #2.
To your question – probably Swagbucks has the highest potential because this site offers many ways to earn. Believe it or not, there are Facebook groups all around making the best out of this particular site and people make hundreds per month.
Wow, Mary! That’s amazing that you’ve tried 40 survey sites! I can’t imagine the time that you’ve spent over the years doing this. Thank you for allowing us to benefit from your experience.
I’ve been on a few survey sites and I must say that the most annoying is when you fill out your demographic information and then get surveys that you take time on and then get rejected. Great idea about watching videos on your phone while you are doing something else! There is a bit of money to be made here if you have the time and aren’t blogging all the time like me! Well done!
Hi!
I’m totally with you about how annoying it is to get disqualified after spending time on demographics. That’s why the first sites on my list are survey sites that don’t disqualify you. Never ever. Did you try any of these? PaidViewpoint, Perksy, 1Q. There are more that I like.
Mary
Hi Mary, thanks for such informative post. I was once played on a survey site and since then I haven’t paid attention to any business online. Now I’m actually in a much different line of business but your post seem very assuring and I’m willing to try again. I’d do this from the list if sites you have given. I’ll also do well to inform others about this opportunity.
Hi Shaw,
As in every domain, same with surveys. There are honest and easy to work with survey sites and there are others that misinform and waste people’s time. Feel free to use my recommendations and enjoy making money with online surveys.
Mary
Excellent and helpful article, You made it your duties to help people on making money online, that is a beautiful job indeed, its good to have streams of income and survey is another means to earn money,I’ve registered on a survey website before but I did not take note of something which your write-up has explained transparently, given the list of useful survey websites, kudos to you,and the advice on cash-out must be followed;Cash out once you get to the minimum payment, thank you for this excellent write-up.
You are welcome, Abayomi.
Hope you’ll make some money with surveys as well
Nowadays, working from home online is considered easy. In reality, it takes time, patience and research. The scams are enough and we need to guard against impending scammers. Thank you for sharing with us ways to make money online. These survey sites seem reliable since you suggest us. I would like to try one. I will study it further and I will make my choice. Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s important and very helpful.
Hi!
You are right – there are too many sites and apps offering surveys and ads and other ways to make money. It’s hard to know what’s a scam a legitimate money maker. Some sites, like Swagbucks for example, are legit but take time to learn how to make the best out of them.
I’d propose that you try 2-3 from the top of my list. I use them and love them myself.
Mary
Thanks Mary, this are great survey sites and I think I’ve tried swag bucks before. Generally, I believe that survey sites don’t really pay well. For example, I registered for one recently and since I did, I haven’t gotten a single survey. Well, I think if one puts this tips you’ve given to mind by multi taking ans trying different sites, one can make something tangible from surveys. I didn’t even know what demographic had to do with survey before. Thanks for the info.
Hi!
As with any type of work, it’s worth to understand the background – how survey sites operate, how they make the money and how to please them and get the most out of them.
I use multiple sites and apps and small rewards add up. I”m going to check at the end of the year how much I can earn with surveys.
I work full time, have 3 small children and still manage to squeeze in some rewards. Everyone can.
Mary
Thank you for this article. I am sure a lot of people are searching for how to make money online in 2019 and wondering about making money with surveys. I tried it and I made about $22 in a week. It was a very frustrating process because of the screening out process where they would essentially get a whole survey out of me but then not pay. Also, a lot of the surveys that said they would take five or 10 or 15 minutes actually took two or three times that much.
paidviewpoint sounds like a good one to fix the screen out problem. If I try surveys again then I will go for that one. Or maybe perksy because that one sounds good too. You have a good website and a lot of good recommendations on making money. Thank you.
Hi C,
I totally get your frustration with disqualifications and wasting time on such surveys. That’s exactly why PaidViewpoint and Perksy are on top of my list.
But if someone has time to spare, it’s good to try other sites as well.
Mary
The thing that needs to be very clear from the beginning is that making money out of survey can only work as a supplement to a full time job and it’s good that you say this from the very beginning. It cannot act as a full replacement because the gains are too little and the time needed very high. But it’s a perfect thing to do in dead times as you go to work or wait in a line so if you use it the right way it can definitely bring a little extra income which is never bad.
Hi Stratos,
I usually do surveys only when the payment is equivalent to at least $6 per hour ($1 for 10 min).
Less than that and I think I’d better just read a book. Surveys are fun as a break in the middle of tiresome office day or along with the TV.
Some people put more time into surveys, as there are no skills requires. It can suit disabled or unemployed people who need any income while having plenty of time.
We explain the options, and you decide what’s good for you.
Mary
Hallo there Mary,
I have been doing surveys on One Opinion and while I can’t say it is bad, it is definitely not the best since they limit you to only the survey they’ve made available to you unlike others which give you a number of options.
I have heard good things about swagbucks and I thought I should research before getting into it so that I’m sure it is one of the best. And now that I’ve confirmed, I’ll be sure to give it a try.
I will also create accounts with all the other sites you’ve mentioned here to see which one works well for me out of them all.
Thanks a lot for the list and the tips for maximizing the earning potential with them. I really appreciate the effort you put into it. Have a good day!
Hi Dave,
Swagbucks is a world in itself.. There are so many ways to get points there, but you need to be an expert. Personally, I’m just learning it with some FB group of fans.
For surveys, if you don’t want to waste time on disqualifications – use PaidViewpoint, Perksy and 1Q. Treat them as fun breaks during your day.
Surveys are not intended to become anyone’s main income, just some fun and little spare money.
Mary
Hello thank you for this beautiful article on survey as a means of earning extra income. I personally make use of survey sites like swagbucks these days to stack up extra bits of cash backs and earn extra rewards so CE it is one of the most reputable survey sites. Though the amount of time spent on survey sites generally isn’t worthy of the pay gotten on them. But they do honestly present extra bit of income during my leisure. Besides, I do get rewards from surveys that helps with my shopping budget too.
Hi Darrick,
I guess people who have a full time job with sufficient salary are less likely to take paid surveys and they will compare the rewards with their hourly wage to decide if it’s worth it. But some others, who have a lot of free time, can see surveys as a good use of their time.
Some survey sites and apps are more like a game (see Perksy for example), so it’s nice as a break from some work routine plus you get paid.
I have a job ans I still do surveys just as kind of a hobby.
Mary
Yup, getting a separate email address is important when participating on survey sites. I learned this after receiving 100’s over emails in a day when I first started. I had no idea that when you signed up with one site, your email can potentially be shared with a few other sites. It can be quite annoying because you’ll need to go through the same qualification test over again.
Anyways, I haven’t make a lot of money through surveys. They are too time consuming and redundant. I much prefer to do blogging instead.
Hi Cathy,
I’m with you – surveys can’t make anyone rich! But I’m sure you know blogging (or even reading a good book) is not for everyone and not for any time. There is a reason why paid survey websites are so popular. Anyone can do it.
The idea here is to provide the list of most reliable survey sites, so people are not robbed from their time and personal information by any scam panels.
Thank you for sharing your honest opinion about surveys
Mary
Glad you established from the beginning that survey income isn’t going to replace any day job. However, something to also note is that a lot, if not all of these site offers, aren’t given if you’re not in America I find. They didn’t for me. Swagbucks didn’t even allow me to access the site at all. Secondly, when I went to America for vacation and started survey stuff, a lot of the questions asks required me to be familiar with a lot of American institutions like cable companies or a multitude of food distributors. Since I wasn’t versed in American culture and I answered honestly, they booted me out of a lot of surveys I attempted to take because I wasn’t part of the demographic they wanted feedback from.So just a heads up.
Hi Caldero,
You are right, most of these sites are US oriented. However, you can try the Global Test Market, that as the name suggests, allows members from many countries to join. I guess the selection of surveys wouldn’t be huge, but give it a shot anyway.
Mary
Hello Mary,This is very informative and it already saved so much time from the research that you have made. It is good to know that you have made a detailed listing and assessment on all the survey companies. This is a great guide on anyone who is going to take surveys for some side hustle on free time. I also didn’t know the pointers that you have mentioned not to be too trusting when giving out information on where you live and birthdates to avoid identity theft. This is such an awesome resource
Hi Francis,
Keeping your personal information safe is important, as many survey panels can pass your data to third parties (read Terms and Conditions carefully), so it’s better to be safe than sorry.
I’m glad you find this list of the best paid surveys sites helpful. Making money with surveys is easy for most people, so why not to try?
Mary
First of all, thank you for doing all the research for us. The information you provided is very helpful. I know there are a lot of online survey scams out there, so it is great to have these good ones in one place.
I think doing surveys is a lot of time for very little return. Maybe it is good for a little income while developing an online business.
Are there any surveys that pay really big for reviewing online businesses?
Hi Curtis,
Some of the surveys can take you to a mock webpage and ask to review it.
The return is not big but what’s the alternative use of that time? If you can learn, read or make more money online with another option – go for it. But if you are just stuck on train or zip zapping on Netflix, then the alternative is zero, so any amount is better than nothing.
Mary
Taking the survey is time consuming. I get livid every time when I was in the process of taking the survey, answered the routine questions just to find out that “I am NOT Qualified for the survey!!” Why tricked me?!! lol Can’t complain though that it is a way to get a little side money. I also met some people that do the Focus group, they pay better but you might have to go to the location do to it or could be spending a lot of time on your phone talking to them. I myself using the Money App on my iPhone. I only do it when I commute 🙂
As I have explained in the posts, disqualifications are normal, as the companies are looking for specific demographics and can’t pay to irrelevant people to answer the surveys. Some of the websites, like Swagbucks, pay something even if you get filtered out. Some sites also offer Focus Groups and products to test for rewards.
Commute is a great time for this little side hustle!
Thank you for stopping by.

I for one usually use survey sites, as Swagbucks, nowadays as an additional method for gaining money backs and rewards for shopping. I’d figure the measure of time I spend on overview locales was not justified, despite any potential benefits similarly as creating a couple of additional dollars is concerned. I much of the time shop on Amazon and I cherish the prizes that I get from overviews, particularly when I am in substantial shopping mode amid the occasions.
Thank you for insights

Thank you for your expertise and sharing your knowledge and work you have put into this research. I found it super helpful and want to try it!
Hi Olga!
I’m super glad to help you start making extra money from home. It’s very important to know what are the legitimate surveys sites that really pay money. There are too many scams on the web. Please let me know your feedback when you try some of the sites from the list.
Happy earnings!

Awesome list Mary,
Wished I had found this back post then, I didn’t know which program was legit so I tried so many survey programs but ended up being scammed because some of those company didn’t want to release my hard-earned money. I even got a tedious company called Bubblews that looked decent enough because they paid me for the first several attempts but after a while, they never released my money and voided it saying that it’s a ‘system failure’.
Maybe you could look into that on your next review run 😉
Hi Riaz,
Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s sad to hear you lost the money you worked hours for. Unfortunately, such situations happen all the time with many sites. This is the reason I recommend being consistent with the answers and taking payment as soon as you can.
Next time you want to get paid for surveys, you know where to sign up for a legitimate survey panel.

I personally choose to use survey sites, like Swagbucks, these days as an extra way of earning cash backs and rewards for shopping. I’d figure the amount of time I spend on survey sites was not worth it as far as generating a few extra dollars is concerned. I frequently shop on Amazon and I love the rewards that I get from surveys, especially when I am in heavy shopping mode during the holidays.
Hi Jessie,
Swagbucks is really one of the best survey websites to get gift cards. I’d recommend trying some others as well for cherry-picking the highest paying surveys.
